Laura is a Registered Psychologist based in Sydney’s Inner West. Over the years, she has worked in a range of organisations including NSW Department of Communities and Justice, as well as community based NGO’s, before starting Lemons 2 Lemonade in 2018. She specialises in the consultation, assessment and treatment of complex mental health presentations, drawing on her expertise from the trauma and disability fields that she has worked in.

Laura works with clients from all life stages and provides intervention for an array of challenges including anxiety, depression, stress/burnout, grief and trauma, to name a few. She is also equipped to provide support to parents who are struggling with behavioural challenges in the home and often consults with foster care agencies around case planning.

Her warm, understanding and compassionate approach puts others at ease so they can feel safe to express themselves without fear or judgement. Laura utilises a combination of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Emotion-Focused Therapy techniques to ensure sessions are holistic and tailored to each individuals needs.

Arnold is a long-haired miniature dachshund and is our in-house Canine Clinical Support (in training).

He loves to sit in on sessions when he can find the time between his busy nap schedule and will do just about anything for some attention or a good back scratch.
